Bristol Virginia Schools Planning To Open August 20

Dr. Keith Perrigan, Superintendent of Bristol Virginia City Schools says his team his currently working on a plan to open schools on August 20 Thursday and Friday of this week, the plan which is required by the state is being worked on by the team and then will be sent to a committee of parents and teachers and other educators for review and adjustments next week. Perrigan also says work is being prepared to benchmark students when they return to determine any learning that may have been lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.
