Voter Alert: Two Bristol, VA precincts to see alterations in voting area ahead of tomorrow’s primary
Voters heading to the polls in Bristol, VA for Tuesday’s Virginia Republican Senate Primary should be alerted to certain changes at two voting precincts.
According to Penny Limburg, Bristol, VA’s Director of Elections and General Registrar, the precinct at city hall will be relocated to the main lobby from the city council chambers, and voters will enter through the main entrance. The Van Pelt precinct is also experiencing a move from the gym to the main entrance due to work on the gym floor. Voters will choose between Daniel Gade, Alissa Baldwin, and Thomas Speciale for the Republican nomination to challenge incumbent Democratic Senator Mark Warner in November.
All voting precincts in the city will be open, and voters are being asked to wear a face mask or face covering when visiting the precinct due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Polls are open on Tuesday from 6 a.m-7 p.m.
