TN Dept. of Education adds to reopening guidance list with classroom setup videos
The Tennessee Department of Education has released more guidelines ahead of the planned reopening of schools statewide this fall.
A series of three videos on setting up classrooms includes information on keeping large cleaning supplies on hand with frequent disinfecting, spacing desks out by six feet, and avoiding distribution of community supplies like pencils and paper.
Other school reopening toolkits on topics like transportation, school nutrition, and finance are available on the department’s website, and state education leaders want to remind parents, teachers, and students that the reopening guidance is an evolving situation due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
