Two Northeast Tennessee Industrial Sites Receive State Grants
Two Northeast Tennessee communities are receiving grants totaling six hundred thousand dollars for industrial development efforts. Bristol Tennessee Essential Services is awarded 500 thousand dollars for grading and other site preparation at the Bristol Business Park. In Hawkins County, the Industrial Development Board at the Phipps Bend Industrial Site will use one hundred thousand dollars to conduct due diligence studies. The grants totaling more than two point three million dollars for eight sites are designed to help communities achieve Select Tennessee site certification and prepare industrial sites for economic development projects.
