Marsh Regional Blood Center To Resume Community Wide Blood Drives
Ballad Health officials are announcing Marsh Regional Blood Center is resuming its community-wide blood drives, with updated donor eligibility guidelines to meet FDA standards. In an effort to maintain a sufficient supply of lifesaving blood donations, the health care provider is modifying donation deferrals for individuals who were previously unable to give due to time spent in certain European countries or on military bases in Europe. Marsh Regional Blood Center will continue to take appropriate measures to reduce donors’ potential exposure to COVID-19 and emphasize COVID-19 does not pose any known risk to blood donors during the donation process.
