Southwest Virginia Crash Claims Life Of Pounding Mill, Virginia Man

A Southwest Virginia man is dead following a weekend traffic accident in Tazewell County. 54 year old Timmy J. Ball of Pounding Mill Virginia died at the scene when his 2002 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck ran off the right side of the road on Route 609, less than a mile north of route 19. Ball’s truck struck several trees and overturned down an embankment. According to a report from Virginia State Police, Ball was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
