An extension deadline has been granted for applications for the COVID-19 pandemic food assistance program for families in Tennessee.
According to the Tennessee Department of Human Services, the deadline to apply for the pandemic EBT program has been extended to Monday July 13th at 5:30 p.m. It provides parents with $5.70 in food benefits per child each day that child qualifies. Children are eligible if they receive free or reduced meals at schools or attend a Community Eligibility provision school.
