Southwest Virginia Man Killed In Single Vehicle Accident

A southwest Virginia man is dead following a single vehicle crash on Copper Ridge Road just south of Route 58 in Russell County. 79 year old Gary D. Fraley was killed when the 1983 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe 10 pickup truck ran off the right side of the road striking a parked Ford F150 pickup truck. Fraley was transported to Russell County Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Fraley was not wearing a seatbelt. The Ford truck was not occupied and the crash remains under investigation by Virginia State Police.
