JC Schools set to bring students back to campus in August, will also offer remote learning option
Johnson City Schools have released their reopening plans for the upcoming 2020 fall semester.
Students are expected to return back to classes beginning Tuesday August 4th with in-person traditional learning, however, an option is available for parents to choose for their children to go to school remotely. A survey being sent out to parents will allow for them to declare a learning option, and families have until Friday July 17th to decide between traditional or remote learning. Health and safety protocols such as temperature screenings, social distancing, and mask wearing in common places will be in place.
School officials say instructional adjustment may need to be made as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves.
