New York Pair Caught Speeding…With Nearly One Hundred Thousand Dollars In Stolen Cash
A pair of New York men, stopped in southwest Virginia for speeding and later discovered with nearly one hundred thousand dollars in stolen cash in the vehicle have pleaded guilty in an Abingdon District Courtroom. 20 year old Zeidan Hamad Saado and 21 year old Ali Salim Mberwa each face a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison and up to a 250 thousand dollar fine. The two stole the money in Florida and were stopped by a deputy in Wytheville Virginia for going 89 in a 65 mph zone. Deputies discovered 97 thousand dollars in one hundred denominations that were bundled almost exclusively in Loomis Bank bands. Along with the 97 340 dollars authorities discovered the two were also in possession of marijuana.
