Three ETSU Football Players Test Positive For COVID-19

Three members of the East Tennessee State University football team have tested positive for COVID-19. According to a press release on Monday, since June all student athletes and athletics staff members have been undergoing COVID-19 testing as they return to campus. Through the process of self assessment of symptoms, three members were evaluated and tested positive for the virus. East Tennessee State University has taken the necessary follow up actions which include placing the students in quarantine and performing appropriate cleaning measures. One of those cases is still considered active.
