Bristol CarMax Store Employees Test Positive For COVID-19
Two employees at Bristol, Tennessee’s CarMax store have tested positive for COVID-19 according to a company spokesperson. CarMax associates are required to alert company officials if they are diagnosed with COVID-19 in order to assist and help protect other associates and customers. The Sullivan County Regional Health Department has been notified. According to CDC guidance any associates identified as having close contact with the affected associates, are advised to self quarantine for 14 days after their last known contact. CarMax officials have implemented social distancing practices and business modifications, enhanced cleaning and sanitizing and associates are required to complete a symptom self screen each day before coming to work.
