NEW: US Congressman Morgan Griffith being treated for COVID-19

Ninth District Congressman Morgan Griffith has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a statement issued by his office on Tuesday.

Griffith was tested over the weekend after experiencing potential symptoms and has been self-isolating.

The congressman currently does not have significant symptoms but will remain in quarantine while continuing to conduct business.
