Truex earns pole for 35th All-Star Race at Bristol Motor Speedway
Cup Series champ Martin Truex, Jr. will be leading the field to green in the 35th edition of the NASCAR All-Star Race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday following a blind draw Monday night.
Alex Bowman rolls off second followed by Ryan Blaney, Justin Haley, and current Cup Series point leader Kevin Harvick rounds out the top five.
The race will be one of the first sporting events in the US to allow more than 10,000 spectators since the pandemic. BMS has allocated space for social distancing so that 30,000 seats can be sold. Racing begins with the All-Star Open at 7 p.m.
