COVID-19 cluster confirmed at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino
Five workers at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Resort are now in quarantine after they tested positive for the coronavirus.
A report from the Jackson County, North Carolina Health Department said the employees worked among the table games and the cases were diagnosed within the last two weeks.
The gambling house had been operating at 30 percent capacity since reopening in May. Harrah’s reported that all workers are tested daily for the virus.
