Florida Man Sentenced For Shipping Large Amounts Of Synthetic Drugs Into Southwest Virginia
A Florida man convicted of distributing synthetic drugs into southwest Virginia is sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Abingdon. 60 year old Michael John Harrigan will spend three years in federal prison for packaging and shipping large quantities of the drugs into the area, including packages that were intercepted before delivery in Coeburn Virginia. Harrigan’s illegal profits from the drug activity are said to be at least 500 thousand dollars, which Harrigan agreed to forfeit to the United States.
