Remote Access And School Resources Biggest Concerns Among Teachers During COVID-19 Closures
Northeast Tennessee teachers joined fellow educators from across the Volunteer State in a yearly educational survey that was modified this year to better understand how teachers and educators worked to support students at home during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers were asked to identify their biggest concerns for students during the extended school closures. More than half of the teachers identified access to remote learning or access to crucial services as their top choice. Teachers also pointed to technology, guidance during the pandemic and student engagement as other areas of concern. The survey was conducted by the Tennessee Education Research Alliance. More than 25 thousand teachers participated in the survey.
