Sullivan County, Kingsport City Schools to both meet next on considering and approving reopening framework plans for 2020-21 year

A pair of school systems in Sullivan County will meet next week to consider and approve their specific operating procedures for the upcoming academic year.

The Kingsport City Schools Board of Education will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m and the main item that will considered will be approving the district’s operating framework, which was tabled during a meeting last week due to the board wanting more time to review Gov. Lee and the state of TN’s school reopening policies.

Sullivan County Schools will meet to consider and approve the same item during a called meeting on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held virtually.
