Residents in Virginia can now file an online complaint for businesses or organizations violating the Commonwealth’s statewide mask mandate policy.
The Virginia Department of Health has created an online form which allows individuals to be able to report violations of Executive Order 63, the requirement of wearing a face covering inside a public facility, or Executive Order 67, which involves the easing statewide restrictions of certain businesses as laid out in the state’s phase 3 reopening plan.
The department of health says it can enforce Executive Order 63 and a section of the Executive Order 67. Once the complaint is filed, the health department will review and forward it to the corresponding local health department.
