UPDATE: State investigators conclude Kentucky teen killed by wild dogs
State Police investigators have concluded a pack of wild dogs were responsible for the death of a Kentucky boy in a locality that borders Wise County, Virginia.
A KSP report said the feral animals were discovered on a mining site located near the location where 13-year-old Corey Godsey’s body was found on a mountainside in Knott County in February.
The dogs were captured and DNA samples taken from the canines matched the specimens found on Godsey.
Several members of the community stepped forward and donated funds to help pay for Godsey’s funeral and burial.
