AMC Theatre in Johnson City scheduled to reopen starting Aug. 27

AMC Theatre in Johnson City is set to reopen Aug 27.

The movie theater chain has announced on their website that they would reopen theaters across the country in waves starting Aug. 20. AMC will also have several health precautions related to COVID-19 in place, including required face coverings for all patrons.

Additionally, all auditoriums will have reduced capacity to 30%, with every other row blocked off. Simplified menus and disinfecting stations will also be offered across all theaters.
