Officials: 2020 Santa Train to have alternative format due to COVID-19

The 2020 Santa Train will have an alternative plan this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Organizers with Santa Train and CSX say gifts will be distributed this year at key Food City locations along the usual Santa Train route, rather than gifts being delivered through a gathering at the train. Attendees will be able to pick up gifts from their cars at Food City, and other aspects of the event such as contests and special guest appearances will be moved to an online format.
