Wash. Co., VA government building closed today due to COVID-19 case
Anyone needing to use the county government building in Washington County, Virginia on Friday will not be able to.
According to Washington County, VA’s website, a positive COVID-19 case has been detected in the building, causing the building’s closure today for deep cleaning. The only office open this afternoon will be the voting registrar’s office, only to allow candidates to file qualification paperwork for the upcoming election for the Damascus Town Council.
No other information, including when the building will reopen, was released.
