Bristol Casino and Resort reveals renderings for proposed bar named after location on State Street
Developers with the Hard Rock Bristol Casino and Resort have shared artist renderings of a proposed bar named in honor of a former music store that advertised a recording machine which helped played a part in the Bristol Sessions recordings.
The resort and casino’s Facebook page posted images of Studio 621, a bar and dance club with Western designs that resemble bars in the Nashville, TN area. The bar is named after the address of Clark-Jones-Sheeley Co., which in the post, showed an advertisement for a recording machine from the Victor Company, who helped capture the first country music recordings in Bristol back in 1927.
Voters will make the final decision whether to allow or reject having a casino in its city at the polls in November.
