Case Of Positive COVID-19 Reported In Norton City Schools

The Norton Virginia City School System is notifying parents it has been notified of a positive case of COVID-19 at J.I. Burton High School. In a press release, the school system says the local health department has been contacted and the schools system is following protocols for assessing risks. Parents are being urged to monitor their own health along with the health of their families for COVID-19 symptoms. The release did not indicate whether the case involves a student or staff at J. I. Burton.
