Cyber tip leads to Johnson City man’s arrest on sexual exploitation charges

A Johnson City man is charged after TBI agents and other law enforcement discovered child porn images on his computer while executing a search warrant.

Ritchie George Kennedy, 37, faces sexual exploitation charges following the investigators’ visit to his home located at Sheffield Circle.

The TBI said the case was aided by a cyber tip from a service provider to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which detailed evidence of Kennedy uploading illegal images from September 2019 to June of this year.
