Lee County, VA Public Schools shifting classes online through Sept. 4 after confirmed cases of COVID-19

Lee County Public Schools will shift academics fully online today following reports of COVID-19 cases within the school system.

The district alerted parents to the change in a Facebook post Monday night. They say at least one individual at Lee High School and at St. Charles Elementary have received a positive virus case. The Lenowisco Health District is assisting in contact tracing.

The system will stay fully remote through at least Friday Sept. 4.
