UPDATE: Tennessee Athletics finalizes seating plans for Neyland for 2020 season

University of Tennessee Athletics has finalized its seating model for the 2020 season that will initially seat fans in 25 percent of Neyland Stadium’s capacity.

Eight tickets will be the maximum allotment to season ticket holders with donors and current students getting first priority. UT also plans a ticket cap of 5,400 seats in some plans to allow other fans an opportunity to attend one of five Southeastern Conference games- a home schedule that has not been seen in Knoxville since 1959.

Those who purchased season tickets for 2020 but choose not to attend due to the health crisis will not lose their preferred status for renewal in 2021. The Vols home opener is Oct. 3 against Missouri. They close their home campaign on Dec. 5 against Florida.
