VDOE creates map to show 2020-21 reopening operating procedures at school systems across the state
Education leaders in the Commonwealth have released a statewide dashboard tracking how school districts across the state are approaching the start of the 2020-21 academic year.
The Virginia Department of Education state snapshot breaks down system operations in five reopening options ranging from in-person for at least four days a week, partial in-person, all hybrid, partial hybrid, and fully remote. Of the 132 school divisions across Virginia, 67 are fully remote as of Tuesday.
Four of the nine districts operating in-person are located in Southwest Virginia, including Bristol City, Buchanan County, Norton City and Tazewell County.
