KFD: One occupant taken to hospital following Friday morning fire
An occupant of a home has been taken to the hospital following an early morning fire in Kingsport.
“At 4:30 a.m Friday morning, the Kingsport Fire Department received a call of a structure fire on Fort Robinson Dr.,” said Barry Brickey, Kingsport Fire Department Public Information Officer. Brickey told us once crews arrived to the residence located at the 1900 block, they found the occupant outside and the home fully engulfed.
The condition of that occupant who is hospitalized is unknown at this time. The blaze has been extinguished and the fire Marshall’s office is investigating the cause.
