WCSO: Suspect who fled from deputies Monday captured during search warrant
A man who fled from officers in Washington County, Virginia earlier this week has been captured.
The Washington County, VA Sheriff’s Office says Trevis Lightfoot is in police custody after deputies conducted a search warrant at a home on Wallace Pike. Police say Lightfoot fled on foot when deputies arrived but was quickly apprehended. Lightfoot was being sought for felony charges and crossed state lines into Bristol, TN during a chase on Monday.
Four other arrests were made during the search of the property, and below are their names and charges:
Christopher Tester of Bristol, Tennessee was apprehended for Failure to Appear for Driving Revoked.
Sarah Ashley Jones of Marion, Virginia was apprehended for Failure to Appear in Smyth County, Virginia for Probation Violation/Absconding for the original charge of Possession Schedule I or II Narcotics.
The Sheriff’s Office says they located both hiding in an unattached garage. Adam Green was located outside and was apprehended on a Failure to Appear on underlying charge of Assault and Battery. During the search of Green deputies say they located a bag of crystal substance identified as Methamphetamine. Green was charged with Felony Possession of Schedule I or II Narcotics subsequent to his original charges.
The Sheriff’s Office also arrested Robert Stone of Green Bay, Wisconsin. During a search of his person deputies also located Methamphetamine. Stone was charged with Felony Possession of Schedule I or II Narcotics.
As for Lightfoot, he was arrested on outstanding warrants including Felony Elude Law Enforcement from Bristol, Virginia, Felony Elude Law Enforcement Washington County, Virginia, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Felony Destruction of Property, Hit and Run, Reckless Driving, and Obstruction.
