New Solar Partnership Will Create Nine MegaWatt Solar Farm In Washington County Tennessee

Brightridge utilities in Washington County Tennessee is partnering with the TVA and a Nashville based solar producer to build a new 9 megawatt solar farm in western Washington County Tennessee. The Martin Solar Farm is located on one hundred acres in Western Washington County. Nashville based, Silicon Ranch will install more than 25 thousand solar modules capable of producing up to nine megawatts of power, which will be offered to area schools and institutions interested in offsetting some of their electricity needs with cleaner energy sources. The project is expected to be completed and online at the end of 2021.
