Press Conference On Wednesday…To Announce Solar Energy Project In Southwest Virginia

A Virginia company that specializes in commercial scale solar installation services will be in attendance on Wednesday with officials from The Solar Workgroup of southwest Virginia to announce a new partnership for solar energy projects in the coalfields of southwest Virginia. Officials with Lonesome Pine Solar, Mountain Empire Community College, and the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy will join represenatives from Secure Futures to make the so far unannounced details of the new partnership. Secure Futures is a Virginia company that specializes in developing affordable solar power solutions. The company develops, finances, builds, owns, operates and maintains on site solar projects for schools, universities, hospitals and governmental agencies.
