Small Businesses Form Coalition To Support Bristol Casino Project

A “Vote Yes For Bristol” referendum committee announces on Tuesday, the formation of “Small Businesses for Bristol. Local job creators and leading small businesses have joined together to support passage of the referendum and encourage voters to approved the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Bristol in the upcoming election. The group says the project, if approved will create over two thousand jobs with an average total compensation of more than 46 thousand dollars a year. So far 26 local businesses have signed up to support “Small Businesses for Bristol. The Casino and Resort will also generate annual tax revenue equivalent to nearly half of Bristol Virginia’s existing budget.
