The US Dept. of Agriculture is investing $9 million in bringing high-speed internet access to certain parts of Scott County, Virginia.
The grant will allow Scott County Telephone Cooperative to connect over 7,400 people, more than 400 farms, close to 100 businesses, a fire station, a town hall, and two educational facilities.
