Tennessee’s Unemployment Claims Rise Slightly, Sullivan leads Way with Most Claims in Northeast Tennessee

Tennessee’s unemployment claims for last week went up and Sullivan County shows the highest number of claims filed in Northeast Tennessee with 304 initial new claims filed. Sullivan County has also recorded a total of just over thirty two hundred claims since March 15. Slightly more than 12 thousand new claims were filed last week in Tennessee. The state has recorded at total of 818 thousand, 149 claims since March 15 of this year.
