Science Hill students in quarantine, eight students at feeder schools positive for COVID

Johnson City Schools announced Friday that 30 Science Hill High School students are now in quarantine while a total of eight pupils from its feeder school area are undergoing treatment for COVID-19.

The data was confirmed through a new dashboard made available on the system’s official website. It coincides with the Tennessee Department of Health’s announcement of making virus case numbers at public school systems available to all residents.

Johnson City’s Board of Education had decided to send students back to school on a hybrid schedule last month.
