TDOT to halt construction lane closures for Labor Day weekend

For people traveling in Tennessee for the upcoming Labor Day weekend, you won’t have to worry about construction related lane closures.

As usual in holiday times, the Tennessee Department of Transportation is halting any construction related lane closure this weekend to provide maximum road capacity for commuters on the state’s interstates and highway.

Construction related lane closures are being halted starting Friday at noon and will run through 6:00 a.m next Tuesday.
