B-17 bomber making stop in the Tri-Cities this week
A World War II B-17 aircraft is scheduled to be in the Tri-Cities later this week.
The Flying Legends of Victory Tour will make a stop in our region starting Tuesday through Sunday, and in addition to the B-17, several other aircraft and displays will be made available for viewing. The B-17, nicknamed “Sentimental Journey” was built in 1944 and is one of only five B-17 aircrafts still flying out of the 13,000 produced from 1936 to 1945.
Rides are available in the various aircraft that will be at Tri-City Aviation this week including the B-17. Below are detailed times and schedules of the flights and displays:
Event Schedule– Tuesday, September 8 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM/Wednesday-Sunday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Prices: Admission is free onto the ramp to view displays, Tour of B-17 is $10 per person/$20 for family of 4, B-17 aircraft rides: $425 or $850, Helicopter and Flying Services rides: contact for pricing, information below.
