Select Students At UVA’s College At Wise, Join Elite Group Of STEM Learners

In 2018, UVA’s College at Wise received a 650 thousand dollar science, technology, engineering, and math grant, the largest National Science Foundation award the school has ever been awarded. And now, ten, new, first year students are participating in the program’s 2020-2021 cohort. The group includes academically talented first year students who were selected because of their exceptional promise and potential. Since the initial award, the College has received two additional NSF awards with UVA Wise faculty as either principal, or co- principal investigator
