UPDATE: Dickenson County, VA Sheriff’s Office captures Ohio homicide suspect
A man wanted by the US Marshals for homicide charges in Ohio has been captured in Southwest Virginia.
Dickenson County Sheriff Jeremy Fleming said James Miller was arrested Monday at an area on Frying Pan Road in Haysi. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the arrest by Virginia State Police. Miller was being sought by police in Dayton, OH for murder and felonious assault. Police in Russell County said they spotted him in their county on Sunday.
Miller was taken to the Haysi Regional Jail and will be extradited back to Ohio.

The Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook Sunday that the US Marshals is searching for James Miller, who was spotted in Russell County yesterday.
Miller is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information on his location is asked to call the Russell County Sheriff’s Office at 276-889-8033.
