JCPD: Bristol, TN man arrested, accused of hitting female and vehicles with metal pipe

A Bristol, TN man is facing five counts of aggravated assault on accusations he hit a woman and four vehicles with a metal pipe.

Johnson City Police were called to the area of South Roan St. and Walter St. on Monday afternoon where they found suspect Thomas Cousineau, 50, on top of a female struggling in the parking lot of the John Sevier Center. An investigation says Cousineau walked in the middle of S Roan St. where he allegedly struck four vehicles as they passed him then the female victim.

The individual was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, and Cousineau was arrested.

He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $125,000 bond. Cousineau was scheduled for a court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
