Jonesborough Repertory Theatre reports positive coronavirus cases following show
The Jonesborough Repertory Theatre says three COVID-19 cases have been detected following a recent play.
According to a Facebook post, the theatre stated it was three individuals associated with the Dearly Departed show. They believe the cases were brought in from outside sources rather than an internal spread, and stated in a comment there was no exposure during a performance, and once those associated felt they may have the virus, they distanced themselves from the theatre.
The theatre also announced because of the positive cases they will not be holding this weekend’s shows. They will resume shows once all associated with the plays have tested negative. Anyone who has purchased a ticket for this weekend will be contacted by the theatre’s box office manager.
