Carter County BOE approves plan to have K-12 students return to in-person learning four days per week
School leaders in Carter County have approved a plan to have K-12 students return to in-person learning four days a week.
The district’s board of education met Thursday night and unanimously voted in favor of having students head back to face-to-face learning starting Monday Sept. 28, with four days of classes in school while Friday will be used as a fully remote learning day. Families have two other options including remote learning and the Carter County Online Academy should they wish to hold on having their students go back to in-person learning.
The district is committed to having 100% face to face learning to the Thanksgiving break.
