UPDATE: Tennessee health officials expanding visitation options at long-term care facilities
The Tennessee Department of Health has announced expanding visitation policies for long-term care facilities beginning in October.
Care centers that do not register a COVID-19 case for 14 consecutive days will be allowed to welcome limited guests inside and outside with virus precautions required. The report said that could also include visitors having a temperature check.
Caregivers will also be allowed back inside homes if the facility has not reported a virus case in 28 days.
