Police: Adult, juvenile high on marijuana found on school property in Unicoi County

Unicoi County police have placed charges against a man who admitted smoking marijuana with a minor before being spotted by police on public school property.

Jacob W. Mace is scheduled to appear in court in November on charges of simple possession, carrying drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Mace and the juvenile were found by officers at the covered pavilion at Unicoi Elementary School. The child was released to a family member while Mace gave consent to search his backpack to the policemen who found 12 ounces of marijuana.
