108 Students Across Johnson City School System Now In Quarantine…Due To Possible COVID-19 Exposure

The Johnson City School System is reporting 108 students are in quarantine within the systems eleven schools. A quarantined student is defined as a student who has been determined to be a close contact, or exposed to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19. Those quarantined students must stay at home until they are cleared by a doctor to return to school. Southside Elementary is reporting the highest number of quarantined students with 29. There are currently seven students in isolation. Isolation is defined as a student who has tested positive for COVID-19 and must remain at home until cleared by a doctor.
