Washington County, TN Public Library in Jonesborough hosting month-long Halloween virtual event

The Washington County, TN Public Library in Jonesborough is set to host a month long Halloween event getting underway Wednesday.

The Ghoulish Goodies event will be a virtual trick-or-treat, where each Wednesday, participating businesses in downtown Jonesborough will display a new code in their window. Each code will be worth a specific prize ranging from handfuls of candy to digital raffle tickets. Participants can obtain codes through downloading the Beanstack app or through its website, followed by registration before codes can be collected.

The event ends Oct. 28, and the library will put together each individual’s personalized trick-or-treat bag based on the codes collected. Those bags will be made available at the library starting Oct. 30.
