Northeast Tennessee man sentenced to 13 years in prison for sharing child porn videos

A Washington County, Tennessee man will spend multiple years behind bars after federal prosecutors said he exchanged sexually-explicit videos of children on a peer-to-peer network on the Internet.

Nathan Alexander Kirkland received a 13-year prison sentence during a hearing held this week in US District Court in Greeneville, according to official documents.

An FBI agent testified that Kirkland shared the videos for download with an undercover officer assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Knoxville in late 2017 and early 2018. The case was then turned over to county officials for prosecution.
