Tennessee’s Minority, Women, And Veteran Owned Businesses To Receive Additional Financial Support
There’s help on the way for Tennessee’s small business owners who may not have been able to access previous federal and state Coronavirus relief funds. Governor Bill Lee announces on Wednesday, a 50 million dollar federal Coronavirus Relief Fund that will provide additional assistance to specifically support minority owned, women owned, and veteran owned businesses as well as those owned by disabled persons. Small business owners and non profit organizations can apply to receive reimbursement for eligible direct expenses or cost incurred as a result of business interruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The application period is now open and will remain open until December 29.
